Following the successful 2021 Virtual Cambridge Chest Meeting, we are delighted to announce that registration is now open for the in-person 2022 Cambridge Chest Meeting.

The meeting will take place on 6th-8th of April 2022, and we are making a long-awaited return to the beautiful venue of King’s College, Cambridge.

The sessions are:  “’Orphan’ Lung Diseases”, “Viral Respiratory Infection”, “Interstitial Lung Disease”, “Lung Cancer”, “Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease”, “Screening, Nodules & Guidelines”, and “Future Horizons”. The keynote lectures are “UK Lung Cancer Screening: Principles and Practice”, and “Preparing for the Next Pandemic”. In addition, following the success of the Clinical Case Panel Discussion at the 2021 Virtual meeting, this feature will also return in 2022.

The aim of the Cambridge Chest Meeting is to bring together respiratory physicians, radiologists, pathologists, thoracic surgeons, and oncologists to discuss important issues in current clinical practice. As well as reviews of current clinical best practice, the meeting provides a forum for presentations of exciting future developments in these fields. The emphasis is on informality, looking at the basis of what we are doing now and how this is likely to change over the next few years.

An important and unique feature of the Cambridge Chest Meeting, apart from the stunning setting, is the interdisciplinary discussion after each talk – active participation of the audience is encouraged!
